I sculpted all Friday night, and most of Saturday
I worked Saturday night, 6pm-6am
napped a bit when I got home Sunday,
and started projecting when I awoke.
Sewing!
I haven't sewn in the LONGEST time. I miss it. quite dearly.
It's getting cold out, and both Franklin and Dahlia HAVE hair, but it is very short, so I decided they needed coats, and what a better design than Auburn love. So excited to make Dahlia's still and warm her in style.
This one (the blue) and the orange below are the same jacket, it's "reversible". So whatever color Franklin feels like wearing, he can.
The small designs are actually from other material that I had scrap remnants of. I know they'd be a cool addition to a project one day, just wasn't sure what or when.
Glad I saved them. I couldn't love their touch to the jacket any more!
Clearly Franklin loves his jacket. (He actually doens't mind it!)
I am sure he especially won't mind going on longer walks now.
And this was his second jacket.
Less design involved for me, because the fabric came with the pattern.
And here are my clay creations for the weekends.
Belgian Tervurens.
Gorgeous dogs.
These are Christmas presents for the parents of one of the oncology residents at my school.
She was so very nice about sharing her photos of these beautiful dogs! I only hope my clay creations can do them some justice!
This is Loki. A male, who has the most gorgeous mane. Honestly, I have never seen such a gorgeous dog.
This is Loki with another dog of theirs, Piper.
and Piper more up close.
I had so much fun doing their colors.
I also worked on an Austrailian cattle dog this weekend, which was fun to mix the colors for, but I cannot seem to get the pictures to show up correctly on here.
I promise to share them later!
:-)
As for now, off to bed! The weekend wore me out!
